Goop 55-Gal Self-Leveling Low Viscosity E6000 Adhesive (246041) is a premium industrial-strength adhesive engineered for superior bonding across a broad spectrum of materials. This clear, self-leveling formula provides exceptional adhesion, creating strong and permanent bonds on both similar and dissimilar surfaces. Its low viscosity ensures smooth application, allowing the adhesive to flow and settle evenly for a consistent finish.Ideal for large-scale professional and industrial applications, E6000 PRO-GRADE excels in bonding wood, metal, glass, fiberglass, ceramics, masonry, concrete, leather, rubber, vinyl, and many plastics. Once cured, the adhesive remains highly flexible, accommodating movement and vibration without cracking or becoming brittle, even in extreme temperatures. It exhibits excellent resistance to water, dilute acids, and bases, making it suitable for demanding environments, including submerged applications. The cured adhesive can also be painted for aesthetic integration or enhanced UV protection. This 55-gallon drum provides a substantial volume for extensive projects where consistent, high-performance bonding is critical.

KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS:

  • Superior bonding strength: Creates powerful and permanent bonds with a wide variety of materials, ensuring long-lasting adhesion for demanding applications.
  • Self-leveling formula: Its low viscosity allows the adhesive to flow smoothly and level itself, ensuring an even and consistent coating for professional results.
  • Broad material compatibility: Effectively bonds wood, metal, glass, fiberglass, ceramics, masonry, concrete, leather, rubber, vinyl, and many plastics.
  • Exceptional flexibility: Remains flexible after curing, resisting cracking or brittleness due to vibration, movement, or temperature fluctuations from -40 °F to 150 °F.
  • Waterproof and chemical resistant: Provides excellent resistance to water (fresh and salt), dilute acids, and dilute bases, making it suitable for harsh environments and submerged use.
  • Industrial volume: Supplied in a 55-gallon drum for large-scale operations and continuous professional use.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Size: 55 Gallon
  • Type: Drum
  • Color: Clear
  • Viscosity (Uncured): 50,000 cps
  • Hardness (Cured): 80 Shore A
  • Tensile Strength (Cured): 3,500 lb/in²
  • Elongation (Cured): 900%
  • Dielectric Strength (Cured): 400 V/mil

HOW TO USE:

  • Prepare surfaces: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dirt, grease, or contaminants. Lightly roughen smooth surfaces for better adhesion.
  • Apply adhesive: Apply the Goop E6000 adhesive directly to one or both surfaces. On non-porous surfaces, let the adhesive dry for 2–10 minutes before joining.
  • Position and press: Join the surfaces within 10–20 minutes of application. Apply firm pressure to ensure proper contact.
  • Allow to cure: The adhesive begins to set in 10–20 minutes. A thin layer cures in 24 hours; thicker applications may take 48–72 hours to reach full strength.
  • Clean up: Use acetone or citrus-based solvents to remove uncured adhesive. Cured adhesive must be removed by cutting or scraping.

BENEFITS OF USING GOOP 55-GAL SELF-LEVELING LOW VISCOSITY E6000 ADHESIVE (246041):

  • Saves time: Substantial 55-gallon volume supports large projects without frequent refills.
  • Reduces material waste: Low viscosity and self-leveling action allow clean, precise application.
  • Provides reliable adhesion: Maintains strong bonds even in harsh or submerged environments.
  • Broad utility: Suitable for a wide range of materials across various industrial tasks.
  • Eliminates need for multiple adhesives: Works on many surfaces, reducing inventory complexity.

FEATURES:

  • Forms a clear, non-flammable bond once cured
  • Resistant to abrasion, ideal for parts subject to wear
  • Maintains adhesion through wash cycles
  • Can be painted over for protection or aesthetics
  • Stable under a wide range of temperatures
  • Safe for use in submerged conditions (fresh and salt water)
