Hired Hand 3002-5000 Igniter
The Hired Hand 3002-5000 Igniter is a 2-inch hot surface igniter built for use in Hired Hand Super Saver XL forced-air heaters. Designed as a 120V instant-on electronic igniter, it quickly heats its silicon carbide element to ignite the gas/air mixture in the burner assembly, ensuring smooth, dependable startup.Measuring about 2 inches from the igniter tip to the mounting bracket, this “old style” igniter matches the specifications of earlier Super Saver XL heater models. Some older units that originally used ceramic-style igniters may require a conversion kit for proper installation, making the 3002-5000 a common replacement during upgrades or routine maintenance.A failing igniter is one of the most common causes of ignition issues. Replacing it restores proper burner function and keeps your agricultural heating system running safely and efficiently.
